| Might want to soften up the reverb on your kick or whatever that's on, adds to the mud. And like Sako said, but it's not the distortion, it's the dissonance and it makes the notes sound bad together. Cool envelope on your synth that comes in and cool chords. your reverbs could use a bit of taming. i would say if you looked a little closer at your frequencies in the mix you could clean it up a lot, and make sure those bass notes aren't hitting too much nasty dissonance . great idea though for sure. :) |
