imo... Anjunabeats has their own flavors of cheese as well, I don't think there is a label that has been 100% effective in keeping it cheese free, but again taste is subjective. Deep is def better at keepin the cheese out. I do like Michael Cassette those and most of the tracks mentioned in the thread.
sorry. My post wasn't clear. Armada needs to take some pointers in producing a music video. Instead, they have cheesy gay trance dj's acting when they can't freaking act. I have blushed so many times watching an Armada music video. Now Anjuna on the other hand rocked it! MC's music vid is unique :) and cute :)

Like those tracks, has an 80's sound to them

Temporarity is probably the only EDM album I'm buying this fall. Maybe the Crosstown Rebels compilation too.
Michael Cassette's tracks do sound similar (same tempo and vibe for most of them), but they're so different than all the other stuff coming out now.

great video, thanks for posting mel :)

No probs! I thought it was an enjoyable vid so I wanted to share.
I have to agree with Oster - his songs do sound the same but it's so different and fun. I love it. We always blast the singles hear at home and it's hard resist dancing to them :D
Love love love MC!!! I want to buy the hard copy of this CD :D:D I neeeeeeeeeeeeed! Out soon :D:D

Armada does their videos purely from a promotional perspective.
Every one of them follows the same formula: the vocalist singing, the DJ sitting in a chair smiling or something, and a bunch of random crap in between. It's low budget, and when they're done with the video they throw the YouTube link up on Facebook/Twitter for a few days and get a couple thousand views and/or track purchases. Then they move onto the next video. It's not really about the artistry for them- it's about having something to keep people occupied for three minutes while they hear a mixed-down version of the song.
Anjunabeats don't do many videos outside of the Above & Beyond web series (which is also promotional but far more interesting than anything Armada puts out).

haha yeah i was joking. can't wait to pick it up! probably gonna be my first hard-copy purchase in a long time, but SO worth it :D
My Name is Michael Cassette is the strongest (new) track on the album, imo.
oh btw, remember this?

I think that a lot EDM, specifically trance music videos are epic failures making me embarrassed to watch.

^^ Yup. They are all corny as hell and don't make sense. Not many do anyway. The last cool music videos were the ones TOOL used to make

I like the song but the video wasn't anything special to me. I think most of us here is all about the sound, not the girls on the videos.
