whatever that last big trancey song of his was...it was proper epic :) I missed that sound!
Sidney Sampson started so well but fizzled like a fire cracker doused in liquid nitrogen. Too much bloody electro. I don't mind the genre's current fist pumping madness but only in short doses. Not only did he over do it, he got Sanchez on the same train. Atleast Sanchez made it slightly entertaining with old school accapellas laced over the top. Just didn't sound right :/
DJs of the night - Nervo for being a pleasant surprise when we walked in and playing Felix Baumgartner - What am I gonna Do. They were actually quite all over the place but fun to watch..heheh. Oakenfold might have been if we saw more of his set.
Good night otherwise...met up with friends, etc etc. |

I went to see Oakenfolds and he did not disappoint me, he played a lot of the classic tunes I was expecting him to play. Then left the kool hause to check on Sanchez after listening to Chuckie for a bit, he wasn't bad but not my cup of tea.
And I got to say that I've been wanting to see Sanchez for a while now and he totally destroyed that main room. Loved every fsking minute of it. Very powerful; raw house music sound.
Great party, excellent vibe! |

are you basing that opinion from watching the crowd around you? if so, its usually not very accurate. from where i was standing on the stage and overseeing the entire crowd, chuckie had everyone in the palm of his hands. |

WOW Oakenfold....stayed in the KH for the first hour of his set but had to tear myself away for the goodness that I knew Sanchez was gonna bring...

I never lost faith in Oakie and I wasn't disappointed last night...
He's still one of my fav's and always will be. Although, what the hell was that new dance he was doing??? So funny!!!
Whatever. He's 47, been in it since before the beginning, and he can do whatever he wants...
Sanchez was pretty good. Very housey.
Nervo... Very hot...
