Speeding up Mp3's for burning

Ok I am borrowing my friends CD burner tommorow but I cant stand listing to my music when its played to slow. Does anyone know of any programs out there that will allow me to speed up an MP3 and record that sped up version on to CD. Any help would well....help.

| i dont think its possible, it all has to do with the buffer rate. |

| well u can change the tempo if thats what u mean using like some sound editor ...like convert the mp3 to aiff or wav then do it from there then save it.. |

| hmm...program wise cooledit 2000, cooledit pro...soundforge....acid pro....even the sound recorder that comes with windows can do it. hehehe. but you prolly don't want to use that. ;) |

| go to www.winamp.com and search for a pitch / tempo plugin. in winamp go to preferences>plugins>output, the select the 'waveout' plugin and combine it with the 'pitch'-plugin. there you go! |
