what a blurry night. wanted to get some footage of sanchez but ended up leaving early. this new camera blows :( hopefully will have things resolved for contact

it IS a canon! That's what's so puzzling. The s95 just came out recently so you'd think at a minimum it'd be as good as previous models.

Not necessarily true. My old canon took amazing vids! It broke, got a new one, same camera, newer model, and the vids (sound) is . I don't get it.... I bought the 2nd Canon for that exact reason, that they take good vids, and was really disappointed with the quality of the new one... sigh.

It's the new camera jamming frequencies clubs are installing. Guv is the 2nd to get it.

Really?? Would this be used at outdoor music festivals as well though? Because my vids were just as distorted at Electric Zoo in NYC.... And at TIL this past friday. So, not sure if that's all it is.

the microphone thats built into the camera is not the same as your old camera b/c if it was then
the sound would be nice and clear, i have a canon powershot sd750 digital elph my video

I had the 870 and the 960 and they were perfect. Alex (smuncky) is hooking me up with another 960 and all will be well again. Thank god you're allowed to return cameras. I tried out the sd4500 and it had distortion problems as well. Hope futureshop returns doesn't remember me :p
