For our latest release, we turn to two Greeks whose stock is rapidly rising: Steve Mill and Elias Tzikas. Between the two of them, they've released on some of the best labels around, including Renaissance, Urban Torque, Plastic City and Anjunadeep. The EP's title track, 'Ain't We F*ckin Now' is a cut of uplifting house built around a cheeky sample, that encapsulates the current sound; possessing heavy crossover potential, without the cheese.
To compliment this, 'Saga Sky' is a much deeper, more soulful affair. It's a piano-led groover with tribal overtones, leaning itself towards the earlier part of the night. |
