get any Technics direct drive turntable if you're rich and planning on djing for a while, if you are poe (poor) (like me...hehe) get Gemini XL-500 II's

If you are poor...wait..and save up for Tech's...anything less is not worth it.

I'm poor.I only have 10 bucks at the moment. :(
The Gemini is pretty cheap.I think I might go with that one.Are Numarks any good though? |

If your serious about spinning, there's only one. Technics 1200s. Yes, they're expensive but if you're really serious about it, don't settle for anything less.

are those numark dj in a box crap good? or are their low cost turntables good? the direct drives that are like 150 or so

ok i agree with these guys that nothing comes close to the technics but i will give you the other side of the coin because i know that not everybody has money for technics. That Numark DJ in a box, do not even think of touching it with a 10 foot pole!!!! Next you have to ask yourself how much money you want to spend. Good turntables at a decent price would have to be the Numark TT-100's. Another would be the Gemini PT-2000's. Anything else and i think that you're getting really close in price to the Technics and should go with them. The last piece of advice, make sure that the table you get is a direct drive not a belt drive!!!
