I made this remix for a remix site.I worked on this track for a couple of weeks.I was still working on some breaks and stuff ,but my computer died.... thank goodness i put this version on my mp3 player before my comp went down. I would have not been able to enter it before the deadline.Anyway i hope you all enjoy it.I would love some feedback on it.Alltho there is not really much i can do at the moment to fix it heh...im going nuts without my computer...argh i havnt made anything in a week...

I wonder what happened to all the support you should have gotten. I mean you just posted this here, yesterday, and no one has commented on your song? No one!?! It's shocking, really. I'd be pissed, if I were you. These people are sooooo cliquish and petty that you might even want to thank them for ignoring the work that you've put a considerable amount of time into.
They go and review other people's threads and give feedback to the ones that give them feedback. Why not post in a thread started by someone who hasn't given very much feedback of their own to others? Why, I'll bet they think they're better than you. Of course, they think they're too important to give feedback to people who haven't found the time it takes to give feedback to other people's work.
How patronizing and condescending. Seriously, tacitly expecting people to offer feedback on their work while offering relatively little in the way of support to people who just post a thread but don't have the time to actively listen to other people's work and offer meaningful insight into it. THAT is the height of hypocrisy!
It's their loss, really. If this thread sinks down to the bottom of the forum without so much as a "sounds good" or "maybe you could notch up the kick a little", so much the better, as far as I'm concerned. They just won't have had the pleasure of typing.

It's not a bad piece, the mix down needs a bit of work, and the one thing which I think you mentioned is that there is no hook that would identify the track.
As it stands it's a nice collection of sounds and melodies but you haven't found the one that makes you think Aha! it's that track again, if you know what I mean.
I would also perhaps use the vocal less if you did find the hook you are looking for. Make it a Question answer scenario between the two perhaps.
Thanks for sharing though.
Cheers

Yes i feel the same way about the hook.I spent a ton of time
trying to get that one line that jumps out at you.
In the end i was never happy with the ideas i was having for the
hook.so...i never put one...heh
I was thinking putting a simple higher octave synth type lead
mabey one or two notes that bend / slide. To give it that
bit of yeah im diggin this track without overdoing it or adding to much sound, but alas i could not seem to find it.
its funny you get to that point with a track after hearing it everyday while your working on it you become a bit numb to the feeling or vibe of the track.
Kind of goes in one ear and out the other.I guess thats the key to it is to stay focused and fight thru the mental roadblocks.
Thank you Nemesis44:happy2:
