So, if 2-step garage gains 2 extra steps and becomes speed garage (4-step garage?); then, what does 2-step dnb or jungle become? Jungle-techno? A drum'n'bass percussive line with a steady 4-on-the-floor beat underneath?

a lot of what i heard from recommendations in those threads is kinda whack. i was expecting 4-4 with a jungle percussion line over top and kinda groovy. oh well, time to dig some more. i couldnt even remember posting in that one:p

There's definitely some good jungle crossover hardcore, tends to be a lot more quality than usual hardcore.

somebody posted a surgeon set a lil while ago that had a track close to the beginning with jungle percussive line over a 4-4 beat. was truly nice.
