Wesley Matsell was born in the semi-rural and deprived ex-mining town Merthyr Tydfil in the South Wales valley's, Wesley has an unlikely interest in the more experimental end of the music spectrum. Citing 808 State, Iannis Xennakis, Russell Haswell, Boards Of Canada, Zbigniew Karkowski, Planetary Assault Systems, Warp Records amongst so, so many others, as influences on his musical style... 2008 saw the release of the uncompromising 'Bernwerk' after Wesley was signed to James Holden's impeccable Border Community Recordings.
