Yeah, Adam himself tore down people's homes with a bulldozer, right?

Sorry to hear that, Adam.

I hope everyone you know is all right and the fire spares the cemetery.

That's horrible Adam, best wishes mate.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your concern. I spoke with a friend over the phone about 45 minutes ago and she confirmed that the vast majority of it was indeed destroyed, but that everyone had made it out safely. To be honest, while she obviously feels like since pretty much the only thing she managed to take with her was her laptop and cellphone, she was more cool and collected about the whole thing than I was, which kind of put my mind at ease. Everybody has lots of friends/family all around the country so it won't be a huge issue for everyone to find a good place to stay for a while.

She also said that they all fully plan to go back there and rebuild as soon as possible. She said there is really nowhere else to go. I'm sure the government will help out as much as possible and that donations will be aplenty. One sad sort of twist to this whole thing is that while the vast majority of the homes were destroyed, a few have actually survived. One of them is the one where I lived.

Indeed. But it's understandable since it was one of the only homes that were in a an open area, not surrounded by trees.

Keep us updated on what happens next. This really sucks.
Best wishes, dude

I didn't say that he did, but i am hinting that it would be a more serious issue to consider instead of a graveyard burned with partially to completely decomposed carcasses.

or maybe im the inconsiderate heartless one here.
