Give it a listen and please let me know what do you think???

Ilike the synth melody but it's too early to comment on the rest really. The bass I think is quite a neat idea but (as you probably know) needs more fullness and bite!

Let me know when it's more progressed.

Listening again I think those chunky percs could use a bit of automated reverb at the end of one or two of them.

I love it.

My only nitpick is with the phase-cancellation action/quick attack-release-ducking (still trying to figure out how you did it) you've got going on, in the beginning, where it does that interplay with the kicks - I think it's a little over played. Try just doing it two or three times, in the beginning and then use it sparingly for emphasis. It's a cool effect, though, so don't kill it, altogether.

Music, as your usual, is beautiful.

scrap the bass, either make it rolling, or just a warm held on bass note

those chords can be really epic man!!!

I like to see people getting creative with bass. I think you might need to duck it though as it does stuff to the kick occasionally.

I think you also have to ask yourself if that bassline is to create groove or to provide meat to the track. If it's the meat the roll off the highs and have it sitting a bit quieter in the mix. If it's the groove then roll of the bottom end, emphasise the mids a bit more and then write another line to fill out the bottom end.

Or you might try to progressively lengthen some of the bass notes and get nasty with a filter. Just a thought though.

Otherwise, a nice idea in progress, but as it stands needs something to bring it to life.

Cheers

Thanks Richard for your comment ---> this track basically didn't have bass line at that moment, it was just a quick melody idea layout to show some members/people how I usually develop/start my production, new updated (with bass line) part of my track is posted on SC.

Thank you my friend.

Cheers.

Nice to hear your putting the producer loops to good use ;)

Sounds good man will keep an eye (or ear) on it :D

Thank you Geoff, Eddie, Sako and Nem for your nice comments and support guys - this was my brain storming session to develop next potential track to work on. I also have chillout track (idea/concept) call "JUST ANOTHER DAY" and some additional ones which in the next few days I will decide which I should continue to work on. I like those session to get all of my ideas on the table and let your heart and brain tell me what should I do next.

Thank you.

Actually, I really like the way the bassline and rapid drums interact around the 1.00 mark.

But I feel that the chords come in rather abruptly and set me off away from the mood I developed through the intro. The chords themselves just aren't my cup of tea, but they sound very Anjunabeat-ish! I just think the contrast between a darker intro and the happy chords is slightly too sudden.

There's not much more I can say without echoing the others. I wanna hear it when it's more developed!

Well done Darek!

You my friend are 100% spot on about in this statement "chords come in rather abruptly and set me off away from the mood" - this is what I'm thinking and will rework this part to get better buildup - It is a lot of fun working on this project and when is done It should be a free download either from SC or label web site (can't say which one yet lol)

Cheer Owen for your great and nonstop support.
