| it did with a lot of other clubs. Fire marshals are strict about capacity nowadays. Once Avalon hits capacity, they will closing doors until a good number of people begin leaving the building. If everyones lucky, the fire marshals will be too busy that evening and it Avalon won't be a concern. NYE is big $$ night for everyone. No one in the city wants to get shutdown. |

I hope so - it would be insane for the city of la to them down, even if just for city tax revenue purposes.
The only thing I'm worried about is that it's one thing to shut the doors to more people entering but it's quite another to close down the whole club and eject everyone. |

Interesting.
I find it crazy that Avalon, as much of a crack den as it is, does not search. That's pretty stupid of the promoters, especially with the problems with the city stemming from high profile incidents such as at EDC. At least be seen to be doing something - every other club does.
Personally, I hope Giant goes back to Vanguard or some other, preferably large, club.
Never been much of a fan of Avalon. |
