A compressor comparable to the Neve 33609 for $900 is a fantastic deal, these guys make and mod gear that compares to high end studios |

It strikes me as a serious bargain for hardware like this. Some companies are charging double and more for similar.
Tempted. The only thing is I actualy do not know whether hardware compressors will make a noticable difference compared to say waves? Any thoughts? (having written this I'm now wondering if this is a blue touch paper moment - oh fukit, I don't give a sh1t if it is). |

| So I was checking out this site and saw the analog summing mixer, what is your guys take on summing mixers? Anyone use one? Can you tell a big difference? I have always been wondering about them. |

Yes, for one, waves doesn't do a hard knee compressor and when you really push them, the begin to get cranky.
This seems like a very good deal, and if they've even got close to a 33609 then it's a ing bargain. |
