I'm loving this trend in hip-hop beats having old school trance riffs...

Swizz Beatz on the new Nick Minaj album:

+1.

I just dont' see the two going together well (yet).

Trance and DnB yes. (I've been rocking a "John B" mix done in 01 or so lately, so good)

I don't mind it....even though I really don't listen to hip hop. Not only do I think this will become more popular but I think you will see more and more DJs collaborating with hip hop artists. It won't be long now until you see Lil' Wayne teaming up with Armin.

i do like hip hop...not this kind of hip hop.

mainstream hip hop has lost its edge...it lost it a long time ago and these weak attempts to incorporate electronic music just go to show their desperation.

I do like to see different cultural sounds and instruments incorporated into hip hop just like i like it in other music.
