Full of ups and downs. Made some new friends, and lost a few. If anything, this year was unpredictable. I'm glad to see this year come to an end though.

Very strange year.. Had some terrible happen, but then again some good things happened because of that. This year will be a positive one when looked at long term. If i make any sense..

This is pretty much in line with my experience too. 2009 was horrible for me (not on a personal level thank god), and I was expecting 2010 to be potentially worse. The last 6 months of 2010 have been surprisingly great career-wise... and I may embark on a whole new career journey in the next few months if everything that's falling into place now pans out.

Fun fact: Krypton/Comrade Stalin may be joining me for the ride... lol.

Like most years, it has had it's up and downs. Support from awesome friends makes the negatives non-existent :D

Lots of changes for me. Got out of a bit of a rut, but man was it ever painful to do so.

no real changes, positive or negative, which i suppose is good- lucky compared to most, no question, but no real progress either which is a bit frustrating: all small labels suck, looking forward to doing my thesis next year...

nothing really new good or bad :sadgreen:

I swear, if you guys end up crashing wall street (and dont include other TA finance guys on the take) i will ing end you :p

Also, 2010 ing blew, ill be glad to see it gone forever. 2011 wil probably suck as well so its not like im looking forward to it. Though it will probably only suck on a personal lever, professionally i think ive set things up well enough that it will start OK and end well.

I'll remember 2010 as the recession year. I've spent most of it unemployed and seriously broke. Things have been terrible in that sense, but I've also had a hell of a lot of fun, and being terminally poor for that long has given me a better perspective of what you really need in life to get by and be happy.

Thankfully, now the year is drawing to a close I have two jobs and good career prospects. So it's been a hard year, but I know I'll look back on it with huge nostalgia when the reality of scraping for money is safely in the rear view mirror.

There's been much tougher times which makes me appreciate some of the more mediocre aspects of the year, a bit of the pessimist in me knows that things can get out of hand and far worse unless you're vigilant.

Next year will be interesting to see if things pan out as planned, really don't know if will.

A lot has happened, but some highlights:

-Carnivale in Brazil
-Favela tour in Rio de Janeiro
-Iguazu Falls in Brazil
-Partying in Buenos Aires
-Hiking in Patagonia
-White water rafting, horse-riding and zip-lining in Argentina
-A four day tour of the world's largest salt pan in Bolivia
-Silver mine tour, Bolivia
-Killing an outrageous amount of braincells every night in La Paz, Bolivia and visiting San Pedro prison
-Hiking to Macchu Picchu, Peru
-Visiting floating reed communities on Lake Titicaca, Peru.
-Sandboarding in the desert, Huacachina, Peru
-Partying and riding Segways round Miami
-A million museums in New York + bagels, cheesecake, pizza etc.
-A week on Ibiza
-The Anne Frank museum, Amsterdam
-Mountain towns in Swizterland (Lauterbrunnen, Zermatt)
-Oktoberfest
-Visiting Auschwitz
-Ruin pubs and nightlife in Budapest, Hungary
-Witnessing NATO's handiwork in person, Belgrade, Serbia
-The white cliffs of Pamukkale, Turkey
-Hot air ballooning over Capadocia, Turkey

I think it would be fair to say that 2010 has been the most important year of my life to date. However, I've also lost the will to ever work again.
