I got to D36 around 12:40 with a very small line. Got into the club within 5 minutes getting reduced admission. Right away the club seemed nice and tidy. I liked the design on the wall. Coat check went smoothly and up I went. The sound is really incredible without going into details. The club is nice and designed very well. I checked out every angle/corner (except the vip area). I do like the couches spread throughout the club, so you can sit down anytime and just chill. The crowd was really nice and chill, everybody was having fun with smile on their faces.
Beer was $8 (isn't the average $7) and water was $5 so that kind of surprised me. The lighting system is pretty cool, but the strobes were blinding me. My biggest gripe was the bouncers on the inside. Very rude(instead of saying excuse me they just ing shove you to the side while walking through) and for some unknown reason the kept shining lights in peoples faces every ING SECOND. It was really annoying and overall those bouncers seemed like they just wanted to somebody up.
I only heard around half of Davide Squillace set which was really good and energetic. When Seth came on, he kind off killed the flow and energy for me. He picked it up around 310 am, but I ended up leaving around 330.
Overall, D36 is a very promising club if they stick to their original mantra. I will definitely step my foot in there again (prob very soon) |

strange- i didn't experience that at all the night before. i did notice that staff were constantly walking around with mops moving people aside and mopping up small spills.
also, you commented on drink prices. was there a minimum on cards when you were there? or were you paying with cash. i'm trying to figure out if the 50 dollar min is their policy or what the deal is with that... |

Troxler really had that place moving towards the end of the night. Great vibe. I didn't really notice any bouncers to be honest except for a few chillin on the side like any other club.
Not sure if the $50 thing is there anymore cause when I opened my tab the bartender didn't say anything, but I dunno for sure cause I ended up going way over that, fml.
Oh and the sound in that place is unreal. Low mids and highs are so crisp and clear. |

LOL maybe it was just me looking like a goon that wants to start fights.
I paid with cash actually. |

| Lots of Euros there too which is always fun. I went in the bathroom once and pretty sure I was the only one who spoke English. Thought I was in Ibiza for a sec. |

| I also cant believe how bad some of these people smell. I mean do they just not shower or put some deodorant on?....it seems that hipsters were the worst.. |

this party was a SNOOZEFEST.
Wack vibe, wack crowd, security everywhere, way too many dudes, and the dj booth is like looking at the empire state building. why have a dj up so high?
Wack. wish Troxler had played somewhere else - party would have been 100% better. even Pacha would have been preferable. |

If you want to stand there and watch the dj go to the 2nd floor and off the ing dancefloor. It was nice to see a dancefloor full of people actually dancing.
Pacha? Yeah so there are even more dudes and the ones without shirts with a non existent dancefloor, gotta be kidding. |

^exactly man. i love the booth being up on the 2nd floor overlooking the dance floor. party isn't about just watching the dj all night. have fun.
and when i was there for claude there def weren't too many dudes. it seemed like a pretty good ratio to me- especially in comparison to recent parties i'd been to in nyc. |
