Its got it all .. consists of dark, goa, psychedelic, slightly twisted, fast, organic and thumping .. No prog in here!!!
Was only a practice mix at home .. bought new choons, downloded em, mixed em, recorded it, smashed it ...
The best kind of mix is unplanned and when ya just at one with ya decks just rockin out and not giving a !
With this set I'm basically trying out a style very different away from what I normally play. Not for the day progger. It's serious night psy!

I'm not particularly interested in this area of music anymore, but I took a listen and it was great, as I expected. Most of the mixing was tight, and tracks all had nice unique touches. The one at the 20 minute mark was cool; heaps of clever little effects I've not heard before. I haven't heard a great deal of music like this; it was like dark psy but at a slower tempo with better basslines.
How are you going, anyway? Bart and Homer still living together and playing basketball? :haha: |

Thanks man, been heavy into the prog this year and thought I'd love to go back and play a full-on set. Needed to get something really different as far as tunes go so I was excited to stumble across some of these .. Will be playing this at a doof soon on a massive rig so would be nice to hear these basslines hammered out to the max!
Benny and I dont live together anymore but we definately still play basketball man, wicked mates :) |
