I'm not the worlds best dj, but I just finished a decent set here with some awesome upliftin trax.
Any constructive (or negative) criticism would be much appreciated.

Really enjoyed your set bud. As Ramone said, it takes me back a couple years as well. Good track selection and some good mixing as well. It def is a 'pumping' uplfiting set. Got me in a good mood to start my day :)
Keep up the good work and I wouldn't mind hearing some stuff from you in the future.

yeah most of the tracks I chose are from a couple years back. Was going through old of my old archives and those couple stood out so decided to make a set with them.

| The more I listen to this set, the more I think that your track selection is sublime. One track that really stands out for me is that Halcyon track. All I can say is wow. |

I had a listen thru it and I have to be honest its quite hard for a mix labelled (uplifting). Some nice tunes especially the ibiza sunrise and platitude tracks but a tad too meaty for my taste. Just my observations and i dont claim to an expert as I have only gotten into trance the last 5 years or so, but I only went to listen to it as it said it was an uplifting mix which I am a huge fan of :)
Have a listen to my latest uplifting mix and see what you think Ste :)

yeah its a pretty pumping uplifting set so to say. Guess I'm a fan of the big buildups and hard drops, but it still averages on about 137 - 140 bpm.
I gave your mix a listen to and I loved it alot. I see what you mean you thought mine was a bit 'meaty'. You enjoy the more melodic vibe but I guess my love of psytrance makes me enjoy the more full on vibe. |
