Nothing beats Cape Cod weather in the summer: 70's and a salty sea breeze wherever you go. Some of my favorite spots on the Cape:

- Also there's an awesome beach in Chatham right off the road that I can't remember the name of. You can swim across a small channel to this sand island and explore it. But the current in the channel is so fast they have a lifeguard in a skiff to fish out any people getting swept out to sea. It's funny to see people go to the far end of the beach and hop in, and then thrash about as they try to swim across before getting pulled a couple hundred feet by the current.
