Well now that I'm back up at full speed, I got millions of ideas coming at me. While I'm waiting to get vocals into "Frostbyte" and another unnamed track, I decided to mess around and came up with this beauty. As you can tell by the fade in and fade out, it's unfinished, but being worked on.
nice work!! left SC comments.
First half is very good, second half the main section is not working imo.. maybe some composition rearrangement.

thank you mr wise mise! i'll definitely take a closer look at the main section. i'm currently trying a mixdown like this, and then i might try a mixdown with a melodic main section.
cheers! :D

Not a fan of the "epic" trance scene, yet I always seem to enjoy some of the synthwork that comes with the package. But I'll honestly say that I didn't find it very memorable due to elements I'd consider part of a large recycling chain. For what it's worth, I like your mixing.

Loving the immense synths before the drums come in and a lovely mix.
At about 2.23 when the bass and kicks joins, it's fukin great and catches some very hot drive and vibe, but for some reason I lost this driving sense quickly so FOR ME it might be there are too many synths just after then so it got a little muddled.
Work this bitch hard and keep it unmuddy and you got a bit hitter mate.
Excellent bass skills - I dont think Ive heard a bass quite like that - dont change

Could you please describe what you mean by the "large recycling chain"? Thanks! I think I'm understanding what you are saying, but I want to make sure.

I'll definitely work on the drive, as that's what this song is all about. Thanks about the bass! I think I used a couple hours trying to rearrange my monitors, EQing the bass, and listening to it on my dad's massive car sound system. :D

Firstly, I'm sorry if my comment sounded rude, it was not my intention. I felt quite a lot of your elements were bog standard and overused. I just enjoy hearing sounds that I'm not used to hearing. I was being rather biased, I guess

Trust me, it didn't sound rude, and I completely understand what you are saying. I'll try to add more unheard elements within the track, but sometimes it can get hard to use unheard sounds in a particular type of track. I'm not saying it can't be done, but hours have to be spent trying to perfect that particular sound, which you are quite masterful at. ;)
I'll give it a try! Thanks for the feedback :)

I think i'll have to agree with Owen here.
It's beautifully crafted even at this stage but it sounds like a sound designers track rather than a piece of music. Saying that, your production skills have come on immensely in the last 12 months.
Looking forward to the update M :)

Lol, you probably know my opinion on this track already (SC) but I just have to say that this has potential to be massive and epic track M.
