Poison by Nicole Scherzinger Dirtbox Divas Remix by Dirtbox Divas

Heya folks,

A Dirtbox Divas remix.

Yes I know it's a commercial track etc. and it probably wouldn't have any appeal to many but its one of those projects where I thought wtf and did it anyway.

In terms of genre, it obviously has elements of pop, but some old school tech trance involved too. It is what it is.

Feel free to give a comment.

Cheers

As I listen, nice hard warm kick, tho vocals come in nicely, sweet. Nice verb on that lyrics.
Nice liltle break. The bass is in,, mmm not sure, some duking going on... some tension, synth.. some more vocals.

Ok imo, the sound is very good!, arrangement very good too, but definitely the bass line is not working, is not grooving. Work in the percusive and bass aspect, glue them togheter, take motif of the bass line and add them to the percusion.

Good Work.
Cheers man!

Gotta agree about that bass, but i do like it at the very start.
Just needs to add onto it, give it more groove.
Nicely structured, loved the layout and thought the tune was pretty funky.

Great job on this one, Nem. Definitely a commercial style and not the kind of stuff I typically seek out, but I will say that I do like that it's a bit more subdued than it could have been and I like the groovy aspect to it.

I'll agree with earlier sentiments about the bass... I'm not sure sure on that one. I really like the vocal mixing/processing, however, as well as the general arrangement/structure of the track.

Great job and keep it up. :)

The vocals are very well emphasized, which I'd imagine is important for a track with commercial intentions. I think the bassline is quite weak though, and not up to your usual high standards.

The breakdown is quite bland and IMO doesn't glue very well into the track as a whole. It feels more experimental rather than commercial.

It's not really my thing, ol' bean, but good job nonetheless. Keep it up.

I think Nems done a good job here melding power dirt with restraint. I like the sparse feel and lack of layering, init.

Cheers
