performed by Adriano Celentano who has a slew of other pretty good songs, if you're so inclined to check them out...

Haha, exactly! :stongue:

That's precisely what English sounds like to you when you don't understand the language. I remember when I was a kid and loved dance music but I couldn't figure out what the lyrics said. I could swear that "What is Love" was a song about some Russian guy called "Boris Lo", for example.

We have a term for that in Portuguese ("embromation") and there was a famous group a while ago that pretended to sing in English and they were actually very talented... I'm trying to find their stuff on Youtube but can't find anything other than ordinary people singing hilariously in a language they don't speak:

I love it :D

Haha that was great. Not too long ago English sounded exactly like that to me.

I have a recording somewhere of myself as a kid singing a Whitney Houston song, it was freaking hilarious.

The vid where she has improved her singing and during the chorus the audience all sing "tu libodibo douchoo" while she sings almost proper is pretty funny as well :haha:

lol, that puts an interesting perspective on it for someone with English as the primary language.

Also I kinda like the song anyway.
