I don't mind Akon, but that might be because I met him and he's surprisingly not a douche.
I think somebody else would be better in his place on this song, though.
It's weird to see a video with such a slick, nightclub-looking style when music this slow isn't really played in nightclubs anymore.
Dre probably should have waited a couple more years so that this track would seem "refreshing" compared to the electro-heavy Black Eyed Peas stuff, but right now it comes across as a bit out of touch.
That said, I like the song and video.

Have to disagree with you here, that electro-heavy style you're talking about is probably the worst thing to happen to hip hop since Eminem. I'm glad Dre is staying away from that, it would be awful.

Glad to see an official video up for Kush. I think it's way better than the Under Pressure track that got leaked. Sounded like a Lady Gaga B-side.

akon was and still is annoying.
kush is ok- is dre incapable of making a track with just him on it? snoops verse is ok, i like dres first verse..and akon is just awful.

While I don't mind the electro-heavy stuff, that's not what I was saying.
I was saying Dre releasing a song like this right when the electro stuff is taking off seems like bad timing. It would be better if he'd released it later when everybody is starting to get sick of the electro stuff.
Then again, he's Dre and has enough pull that this will probably end up a top 10 song.
