Flight booking agencies during the holiday season

I am coming back to Canada on the 23rd of December after spending the last 3 months in France. I booked my flight back in June for my return on this day through a travel agent. Never did she mention anything about the type of ticket she was booking for me, but just that they were booked and both on British Airways.
My problem is that I have 1 hour to transfer from 5A to 5B in London's massive Heathrow airport, go through security again, and get on my flight. This is all under the assumption that my first flight won't be delayed. I would have switched my initial flight from Paris to London to an earlier one if it were possible, however my travel agent has told me I cannot due to the type of ticket she booked me during a seat sale back in June.
Anyone have any suggestions other than get a seat at the front of the plane going from paris to london and run like hell? My guess is that it will be very busy, but any ideas are appreciated so that I don't have to wait 5 hours to "possibly" catch the next flight to toronto if there are seats left.
After watching Max Graham's video, i bet he would be useful in this dilemma. |

| run like hell lol or make them aware in advance & have someone escort you through customs so you can skip the line. i've done it before. it would be worse or rather impossible if you had to switch b/w heathrow & gatwick. |

Should be an interesting day to say the least.
Time to be an to just move through to the front of the security line. |

ya for sure! you've got a flight to catch so you have no time to waste in line. others who are in line, still have time to get to their gate.
besides people understand when you're polite about it. on the other hand, you never know, the flight you're catching might be delayed too. ;) but like you said, make sure to reserve a seat right at the front & then make sure you tell the flight attendants to inform the ground crew in London to meet you when de-boarding so they can usher you through. this happens all the time. breaaathe!! lol have a good flight! :) |
