LHR - Heathrow Airport Question

Hello All,
I'm taking a flight from Paris to Heathrow to Toronto on the busy 23rd of December. I am Canadian.
When I get to LHR in London, I only have 1 hour to make my connection British Airways flight. Since I am not a UK citizen and I am coming from Paris, so I have to go through security.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do to make sure I make my next flight okay?

| You dont have to go through security, just follow the Purple Flight connections signs, they will take you between terminals then :) |

| I'm pretty sure I do have to go through security because i am coming from Paris and connecting through London. |

| Who you flying with? If its BA you wont, you will go through Flight Connections in Terminal 5, if your changing Airline and Terminal then it will take some time. (trust me, i've done it before) |

Yes i am flying BA from Paris to London to Toronto.

Then you will go through Terminal 5, this should tell you how it will work, as I said just follow the Purple signs when you get off the plane, that will guide you through the security and other bits but you wont have to go out of the airport, collect your bags etc, they will just been routed onto your other plane like mine where on the way back from Eastern europe yesterday :)

| Yeah that's exactly my worry, that i have to go through security again when i get to london because i am coming from paris. This will no doubt be slow because of the busyness of the 23rd of december. |
