Massive thank you to Chris and his promotion company for an amazing night. Got there at about 1130 with no problems with line up or coat check. The club itself was great, drinks were cheap, and the lighting was good. Patterson started at about 12 and finished early, I thought his set was amazing for that short time he played. The thing that annoyed me was the fact that he left the dj booth only for someone else to play came back 10 minutes later, played another track and left for the whole night. In general 2 hours is short for a dj set alone but to play for less is very disappointing.

Looking forward to going for another trance event given the set is longer.

According to the guy who owns the promoting firm who sponsored the event, Deko-ze was detained at the border and is not allowed back into the USA for 5 years. Who knows.

Also, I don't know why, but Simon was basically pulled away from the booth for a photo-op since he was leaving immediately after the show. I don't know why they did it in the middle of his set, but I don't think it was his choice.

Fair enough, I think if you bring in only 1 headliner for the night, they should be playing somewhere between 2-4 hours. Less than 2 hours for only 1 headliner would definitely be dissapointing. Glad you had fun though, hope he comes back to Toronto soon :toocool:
