and I'd suggest to everyone else to boycott this release and don't buy it, the Flashback song is a BLATANT rip off of Jose Amnesia - The Eternal (Pulser Mix) :/ |

Hmmm, yes it sounds similar to Amnesia's track, but I'm sure Haris and Plant didn't produce this song with the purpose of ripping off Amnesia.
You have to consider that this track was made a decade ago, and trust me, most producers don't keep track on everything that has been released in the last ten years, I only remember the best 20 tunes of the last one, and my best tunes surely are not yours, so are you gonna tell me that you remember each single song that has been released from that point til now?
I know Haris personally, and trust me he must be beaten to see that he has been accused of plagiarism, as he is one of the few people in the Trance scene that is actually 100% honest towards his comrades and fans.
That said, Jose Amnesia's track runs at a different key, am I wrong? and all the other elements are different from Amnesia's track, so you can't really say that he intended to rip this track on purpose, stuff like this happens quite often, due to the limited nature of Trance, it is impossible to sound 100% unique and there will always be the risk to sound familiar to other tracks for this matter.
You have every right to be pissed if this is one of your favorite tunes, but to say that he blatantly rip "The Eternal" track off, that's a bit off dude.
Those are my thoughts anyways. |
