jp 8000 or jp 8080??

is it better to get the 8000 with the keyboard? or the jp 8080 and use it with a cheap midi keayboard? is it basically the same thing? or one is better?

it's just that i was planning on buying a midi keyboard to control it and control an access virus c.
so what to do :P should i get it with a keyboard and use it as a master controller to control the virus also? can that be done? or im just talking nonsense :P |

| You can use the 8000 to control the virus c. but if you already have a midi keyboard (a nice one with velocity and aftertouch), use that to control the 8080 and the virus c. |

| jp 8080 has vocoder, so you can use the synth engine to tweak the stereo input, jp 8000 keyboard is not that good (no aftertouch i think, and 5 octaves) so if you allready have a midi keyboard go for the jp8080 |

| Yeah the keyboard portion of the jp8000 only has 4 octaves and no aftertouch. the jp8000 itself also doesn't have a midi thru port. |
