In no order.
1. D-Bridge - Inner Disbelief
Soulful tune with a male vocal which works really well, as they often do in drum & bass.
2. Calibre - No Reply
The whole Even If album is massive but this was the first one that stood out as exceptional. Calibre does what he does best, a beautiful piano line and a simple tune that just works so well.
3 Scuba - Before
Lovely dubby tune with a nice vocal layered over. Again, not a lot going on but works really well.
4. Utah jazz - Take no more
That piano line. No more needs to be said, just stunning.
5. Spor - Overdue
Known much more for beastly jump-up, this shows a delicate touch too. Reminds me of Jam & Spoon - right in the night melody wise
6. Clare Maguire - Aint' Nobody (Breakage Remix)
Breakage shows that sometimes you can polish a turd if you strip it right down, like Skream did to 'in for the kill' last year.
7. Instra:mental - End Credits
Call it whatever you will, brilliant is the main superlative you need
8 Commix - Japanese Electronics (Instra:Mental Moog Remix)
Why? Because it's stunningly beautiful. Perfection even.
9. 8 bits featuring Riya - On your mind
Very subtle tune.
10. Jaia - Out of Orbit (Vibrasphere Remix)
