Had to have been one of these

DJ Koze @ Sunset/com# (not a club but its the best (underground) spot in SF)
James Holden @ Incognito/King King

The night deadmau5 collapsed...I wasn't there but it was still the best night.

1. Dixon & Âme for 10 hours in a beach club. From start till finish, great crowd, great atmosphere, great tunes.
2. Dixon @ Trouw. No lights, just music. You couldn't recognize anyone if he was standing one meter away from you. Again, everything was great.
3. Nicolas Jaar @ Trouw. Not very crowded, but his set got everyone going crazy. Nina Kraviz who was playing after him was wasted, so Melon took over pretty soon and he finished the night off perfectly.

Didn't really party much this year: girlfriend (who isn't into house music :( ), working on an Xbox game in my spare time, and a hectic work schedule will do that to you... but my favorites:

Electric Zoo Festival - specifically Joris Voorn, Grum, Orchard Lounge, Dusty Kid, and a MINDBLOWING set by John Digweed.

Tensnake at Le Poisson Rouge - even if he only played for an hour, getting to hear all his awesome songs live was amazing.

Richie Hawtin, Gaiser, and Layo & Bushwacka! at Stereo here in Montreal last month. L&B came on after Richie at around 6:30am and they stole the show, best deep/tech house set I've ever heard. They played everything from dark tribal techno to deep prog, I couldn't leave the dance floor.. I didn't even smoke a cig all night long. Left at 10am.

Rick Wilhite/Theo Parrish at DEMF
Horse Meat Disco in SF also had great music... felt very uncomfortable being the ONLY straight one there though

There aren't really many amazing shows where I'm from, but John Digweed always drops a massive set when I see him play.

Digweed is actually one of my slight disappointments this year, saw him twice and wasnt too impressed, but listening to some of his recent livesets has restored my faith again
