Choosing an amplifier

I recently got a pair of Linear Phase 8812 speakers (Nice and cheap back-of-a-lorry job :D) and I'm not really sure what to get in the way of an amp. The power rating is 125W max per monitor, I understand this means I should be looking at a 60-70WPC amp? Or something more? I'm on a budget and only really using them for amateur producing at the moment, although I'm saving up for TT's etc so I will want something that will suit a bedroom DJ too.
Can anyone give me advice? |

hmm.. intersting. i bet they do. i remember the sound of my parents old tube stereo.
so what are some good tube amps? I'd like to get one that puts out about 100-200 watts/channel and is built well.

tube amps have such a clear+fulfilled sound.
