theres a difference Nou, I work 2 well paying jobs. You work none. I live at home with my immediate family, you were taken in by your aunt because you were gonna starve. We stay at home until we can afford a bigger house then our parents. You're at your aunts because you will never be able to afford a home or get a mortgage. I eat and sleep at my mom's and live my days and evenings workin......you eat sleep nap snack scracth your balls, cry, play action figures, wii, in your aunts basement...and i have a funny feeling you dont pay a rent or pitch in around the house either.

not to mention average house price in toronto is 420 000 right now. which is pretty much unaffordable on a single income. average house price id say where youre from is about 120 000-150 000 i could out that mortgage payment with 1 job. I own property that i rent out. you own a teddy bear.

... I moved home almost 3 months ago... I do work a job, I am co-owner of a software company, we have a product, and we are looking to secure our first round of investment funding in January. Our product has already been displayed at two large defense industry conferences and we have prospective clients in multiple foreign governments. I also pay my own mom 750$ a month in rent to pay for my electricity and food expenses. I tried to pay my aunt and uncle that when I was living with them but they constantly refused, and it made me feel very guilty, one of the reasons I moved home.

Also home prices in Seattle are pretty much that or higher than Toronto, unless you wanna live where you will get shanked.

I don't believe in renting apartments either. Its throwing money away. If I am going to rent its from family, where the money is at least going to people I know.

So you can make up to pretend you and I do not have very similar living situations if it makes you feel better, but it doesn't negate the fact that you are like me right now.

You seriously didn't know that!? I'm an Italo-Portuguese Brazilian (with some extra muttness from other ancestries) and I even lived in Turin for a couple of years :D

Unemployment cheques? i think you need to have worked before in order to get those...diability? Welfare? 750 worth of foodtsamps? maybe a lemonade stand you have outside?

I WORKED FOR THREE YEARS AT A PROFESSIONAL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT FIRM! Where the did you work when you were 20? Also before you bitch at me for mooching off the government, I didn't get a cent of public money from unemployment. The state ruled that the company I worked for fired me for illegitimate reasons and they have had to foot the entire bill because they never payed their unemployment insurance fees.

Jesus, you just make up, its ing retarded.

Also have you ever heard of savings? FFS.
Vivid Boy
so 750 a month x 12 = is about 9000 a year. lets just say with expenses lets throw an extra G note on there being frugal. So youre spending about $10 000 a year on expenses. youve been off for how many years? lets say about 3-4 years. So youve so far spent 40 grand of savings. dude working as long as i have i know it takes quite a while to save up for 40gs. you must have been makin like a 100 gs a year where you were workin. where were you working again?? oh ya a software company. I did computer science in college for a while until i realized how much programmers make. I remember entry level positions being like 30k a year....you must have been a whiz for starting at least 70k. man maybe i was wrong about you...carry on nou....carry on
