Hey guys, trance will always be my personal favorite, but I've always liked these styles and still don't know much about them. I know there are quite a few fans of this stuff here on the West Coast board, and I'd like to learn more about it.
As a trance fan, I like my EDM to have dreamy qualities, so I'm looking for similar artists/songs to these (I love all of these songs):
And since nobody appears to ever visit the "Unknown Tracks" board, can anybody tell me the song Carl Cox plays at around 1:15 in this video from Monster Massive? it lasts for most of the video, and I can't get enough of it. The chanting sounds are awesome:
Thanks everybody!

I am a trance and a house music person, but when it comes to minimal, you can't beat this tune
Listen to Max Cooper, Minilogue, Henry Saiz, 16 Bit lolitas, Sasha, etc etc too much too think of right now.

I actually liked all the songs you posted. I'm glad you've converted! :)
I'm not sure which artists play tracks similar to those songs. The first song sounds kind of Border Community-ish (it reminds me of a Harald Bjork/Ryan Davis song), so check out other artists on that label. Border Community is on the "dreamy" side, with melodic & techno elements to it. The other songs are more on the techno-ish side, so I'm not sure which artists to recommend similar to those (I'll let other people answer that question), but the songs were all good! Good taste in music! :)

haha, I wouldn't say I've converted. I still love trance more than anything, but I've always had a taste for darker stuff like this and want to hear more of it. Seeing Carl Cox at Monster Massive re-ignited my interest. It's like a whole new world!
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I'll start digging. :)
EDIT: That "Who's Afraid of Detroit" song is excellent! I'm listening to some Minilogue right now, and I like it a lot. If I didn't know any better, I'd call it "deep trance", because... well, it puts me into a trance. I love it!

Yeah, you're right! So did he just overlay the sample of the chanting sounds? Damn, that's what makes the song so good. :/

I usually like a lot of stuff that comes out of Bedrock. Some of my favorite tech house/techno artists are Carlo Lio, Reset Robot, King Unique, Christian Smith, Manuel De La Mare. Here are other tracks you may like...

if you like the Martin Bros then you'll enjoy Dirty Bird productions.
and if you like it dark, catch up on Stroboscopic Artefacts label from label boss Lucy, Xhin, Luke Slater, Ercolino, Jonas Kopp, etc.
