Needs some originality, it just sounds like everything else out there. Nothing about it really stood out, the mix down needs work too. The lead riff started to get annoying very quickly, though it got more interesting after the break. I feel like the second half of the track should be the beginning and then it should get more interesting from there, also it lacks a proper outro.
Keep working on it, I'd give you a more thorough analysis of the mixdown but the quality on YouTube is so awful I can't bring myself to objectively listen to it. |

Never upload things on YouTube for us to hear on this forum. I won't listen to it the next time if you have it on there. It's impossible to determine where things sit in the mix for the most part, and the EQ is out the window. Just remember that and you can spare yourself some annoyance, since you won't get any feedback this way.
It sounds like trance from 2004, the automation on the envelope giving your attack the sweep sound is really cool. The bassline and vibe of the track sounds a bit like Ronald Van Gelderen, which is great! At this point I've grown weary of listening to this because of the awful quality, I'm wearing my friend's $200 headphones so it really makes it unpleasant to listen to.
Your breakdown sounds exactly like Cosmic Gate. Awesome.
It's a good track, but we can't help you with feedback given the present circumstances. This track sounds really good. If you can improvise a better hook for the breakdown, it would be ASOT material. Just please use Soundcloud in the future, because listening to it this way is disparaging. |
