I've always tried to give the benefit of the doubt and respect people for their work... (INCREDIBLE producter) ... but ever since my gal and I drove to the white party last year to hear him spin (and armin)... very poor experience. He was the only DJ who wore black to the WHITE party...and his set was out of touch with the crowd. We caught up to him as we were leaving later that night, shouted out hi as a greeting from toronto fans coming to see him, and he didn't even turn to look. He just waved dismissively and kept walking. My gal was pretty jaded, and hasn't been a fan since. It's too bad...how hard would it be to put on a polite face?
On the other hand, Armin was AMAZING that day, and took time to talk to my gal and appreciates his fans. Big respect, and appreciate... thanks Armin for taking the time to give back to the fans who got you there. I wonder if Deadmau5 will figure that out? |
