Hello,
I bought Cubase 5 a few months back. I installed it on my home PC. I now have a new laptop that I want to produce with as well. Im pretty sure though Steinberg wont let me install it on both computers. his is ridiculous. I have my dongle so why wont they let me install it on both and just require me to have the Dongle with me for whichever computer i want to produce with??
Is there a way around this activation block? |

You can install it on both machines, as long as the dongle is plugged into whichever one you want to use it'll work fine.
If you plan to move the dongle a lot it's a good idea to buy a USB extender cable and leave the dongle plugged into that so the cable wears out and not the dongle. |

Yeah just move the dongle to the machine you are going to use.
Beware, if you loose it you have to purchase the program all over again. |

Good advice... I've learnt the hard way by breaking a dongle by not doing this. |

| Your license is the dongle, not the install. As long as your key is legit, there should be no issues using it on other machines. |
