Couldn't embed the video, but watch that and think for a second before you start crying about bouncer pushing somebody down.

^^ so wait...you're saying that because somewhere in the world a few people mercilessly beat the out of other people that justifies any sort of violent behavior?

brilliant.

Nope, just that bouncer pushing people stepping on his face is ing mild.

Their job is to keep order in the club, talk is great, but it alone just can't keep all the s under the leash.

the video from op didn't happen in the club though. if their job is to keep order in the club, which i totally agree with you on, then why push some dude into the street? back him up, keep him off the property... if he gets violent settle him down/hold him down until the cops come because you called them. bouncers should help solve problems, not bring about more ones by acting all egotistical "SAY IT AGAIN. SAY IT AGAIN." ...the bouncer lost his cool and acted unprofessionally i think that's all there is to it.

and don't misunderstand me- i agree with everyone here that the kid gets what's comin to him for being so stupid, but that's not how it should play out.

nyc businesses maintain and are responsible for the sidewalks... bouncers don't work in the club, they bounce people out of it. it is also the bouncer's job to keep the sidewalk clear and peaceful and not create a scene which would negatively affect business.

this bouncer was obviously not a very professional person, but what do you expect, when you have to deal with drunk prep twats in murray hill every night

I still don't see what the big deal is. The kid got pushed. So what?

if you can't grasp that maliciously pushing someone into the street is not in a bouncers job description (and that remaining level-headed certainly is) then i'm sorry, i can't help you.

Wanking at work isn’t in my job description, doesn’t make it wrong.
