Another Holiday Freebie; a dear friend ours will be showing his short film before the party! Here's a little info:

BIO/SYNOPSIS FOR 48 HOURS A WEEK

It’s Friday evening around 5 PM. School has just finished for the week, there is no work to do on the weekend, and it’s time to have fun and let loose. For some 18-20 somethings, every Friday night until Monday morning an entire world exists that not many know about. This is a world based purely on connection- connection to dance, to music, to a scene and to other humans. Every weekend these individuals escape the mundane world they live in during the week and find life and meaning in the dance music scene.
Ultra Digital Films presents a documentary on these “party kids” who live for the weekend. To some outsiders, these kids are seen as outcasts in a damaging social scene of sex, drugs and loud electronic music. However, to those in the scene, it is viewed as a positive community that promotes the connection they can’t find in the outside world they are isolated from.
This documentary follows one particular group of “party kids” over the course of a single weekend. They are deeply committed to the scene’s value, depth and meaning, which they share in great candid detail in on camera interviews. The kids are also followed into their world, where they find out more about themselves and each other every time they step on the dance floor.

Now, back to the party at hand!

Wondering what you can donate? Here's a few ideas...

Cereal,Chili, coffee, cocoa Soap, Canned Stews, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Tuna, Deodorant, Juices, mouthwash, Canned fruit, Canned Vegi's, Peanut butter, Fragrances, backpacks...anything you can think of that is non-perishable.

In this new year we have made a resolution for 2011 to show more support to our local community and give back any time we can. In saying that please, RSVP to show your support and please share this event with your friends.
