Sasha will be behind this next week!!! :disbelief

Yeah, George brought in a similar booth for District30:

A little taste of Ruby right here in Sac! Can't wait for Sasha next Thu (and not having to drive 90mins home at 4am from SF) ;p

Reggie did all the bar designs and stuff for District 30 I believe.

Oh yeah, I know those drives.

Last few years, though we've been doing a hotel in U.S. about a block away from Ruby. (Just easier on the body.)

Soooo looking forward to checking District out on Thursday! Sasha in an intimate setting and in Sac to boot???? Yes, please!

>> Hit me with a PM, I'd love to meet up!

No , Reggie? That's legit!

I know George and Trevor will be there from Ruby/Slide for Sasha, hopefully Reggie will be too, haven't seen him in over a year.

They offered Isa to host the VIP area a year ago but with all the delays and our absence from the scene lately, we never pulled the trigger. In hindsight I now regret!

Awesome dj workstation!!! Those look like QSC K12 monitors.
Would be great if there was a platform rise up about a foot or two above ground
and add some L.E.D accent underneath the cdjs/table to give it a little grow.

Spaceteck's Ronald Rodridguez collection & DragonFrontBoards' Esguire collection are the best djs workstations

The DJ booth at District 36 in NYC is ... Any old school dj's will appreciate the Urie mixer. The sound that mixer puts out pisses over anything else :)

Is it balcony level? With the crowd mainly a floor below?

Nice venue (looked at their site), but if that's the case it's instant fail!

I sort of agree with you there, but at the same time it's nice to be able to back away from the sardine can for a bit and still be able to see the DJ. When the booth is on the floor, that usually isn't possible.

I've always enjoyed the rotary mixers. Brings back memories of the 1015. You'd (if living in the bay) see that type of mixer at any other event.

would be nice if the mixer was slanted about 45degree downward like The EndUp
I think The EndUp has the Rane MP2016 rotary
222 Hyde SF has A&H Xone:S2 rotary

I ♥ rotary mixers

It does slant on an angle and the top slides left and right to allow for more equipment and other mixers for those who fear the rotary...
