well there are different promoters for the same events and sometimes if the thread falls in the 2nd/3rd page they don't see it. |

There is an "events" forum. Not hard to check if the event is listed there, first.
Of course it'll happen sometimes nonetheless. |

Like what? Point something out specific.
A lot of times what happens is the same promoter will make two threads, one in the event forum and one in the regular forum. I don't know how or why they're doing it but I usually just delete the one in the regular forum.
edit // Ok, Giant NYE. My bad. Also, there are two separate parties called Day One. Talk to the promoters about that if it bothers you :p
