Are we running out of interesting topics?

Is it just me, or have the topics here gotten sorta stale lately? It seems like I'm seeing more and more of the same threads that have been covered a million times already. Maybe it's just a reflection of where EDM is right now? IDK, just sorta wondering if other people are thinking the same thing.
Beatflux
You're just old.

We need another contest and a few more trolls to make everyone angry and interesting again.

:haha:

Aliciya and I were thinking about throwing out one of our songs for remixes, but I don't think that would help much. I suppose I could start trolling in my spare time.

I'm throwing you some analog bones over at KVR but you're not getting it. :D

I think you are all in the doldrums because I have been posting less often here. It's the only explanation that makes sense!

Ahh...OK, I just saw your response. Yes, my sense of humor seems to have a bug or two or lately. Or, maybe Beatflux is right. ;)

@MrJiveBoJingles - that might be it. I already feel much happier now that you've posted in my thread. :)

I felt like this years ago unfortunately. So i had a falling out with these forums. I think it's mostly as a result of increased knowledge. Technical things just aren't quite as interesting because we've found our own unique way through problems, and also less romantic, we've stolen, adapted, borrowed, and etc. Other people's technique.

The noobs are still all the ones that are making all the forums, and it seems the only topics that have been interesting for me were a little less production related then they should be. :p

Edit: as a side note, people here do seem to be somewhat limited to the same old trance cliches. If i get bored i'll go look at the dogs on acid forum, or another forum that's for a different genre, with a different viewpoint and i feel like on my monthly trips over there i'm more engaged and interested. So maybe discussions about breakbeats, and ambient sounds would add some zest to these forums, and maybe it'd influence noobs and give them the tools to not make formulaic garbage. :p It's kind of up to the senior members though to keep things interesting, and it seems like a lot of them jump ship once they get good enough, but there is always more to learn, and TA is a great waste of time. :)

all the trolls left, therefore theres no discussion. everyones left knows all there is to know.

I think part of it's a combination of gaps to include factors relating to (music) education, professional level, (general - not simply related to music) experience, professional and/or intellectual goals (relating to music), culture, age and/or maturity, and economics.

Kenny Rogers
thats basically the answer to anything.

Whaddaya want to talk about? :)

I will say I don't post as often as I used to... just haven't had much to say, I guess. And I Don't really care for all the "how do i make this sound" threads. If they were complex sounds, I might help, but they're not. There have also been a lot of tech-support issues.

WE ARE NOT TECH SUPPORT.
