D-Formation will definitely play some thumping techno, expect a straighter crowd. Morales is gonna be jam packed, I've never seen him, he plays house, expect vocals, some tribal latin flavored stuff? Definitely gonna be a lot of gays out.. I heard Morales is almost sold out, it might be by now. |

nye on friday will let you here some great MTL locals and should be a good party just because its new years.
I am choosing David Morales due to the fact that his return has been long awaited and has the makings for an epic party that may last into Monday afternoon.
D-Formation always kills it ... he was awesome last time he came ...
as stated before, D-Formation will likely be a much str8ter crowd, and the boyz will likely be out in full force Sunday with DM, so you'll have to decide based on either the music you want to hear, or the crowd you want to experience it with.

As much as I love our locals, NYE may be a bit over priced for them (how much is it again?) and Sunday will be too-packed and maybe too much of something else if you can't handle all the Brians there. |

NYE is $60 for first round, then $70.
Even though I'm not going to Stereo NYE, since they are opening at 10pm that night, do you think they are getting a temporary 1-night liquor license so people can ring in the new year and cheers with some sort of booze-type drink?
I seem to remember drinking alcohol in stereo one new years in the past, but can't be certain. |

Hands down without a Doubt. D-FORMATION ****
All three times I saw him in 2010....he's blown me away everytime.
Other than DT in July, D-Form was a close 2nd.
One of my all time favorites. Productions are fantastic....
ooooo.....thumping, driving, build ups...I'm excited.
I've attached a recent release of his...listen, enjoy and picture yourself in the temple to these sounds.
