So, guys, what's the most expensive record you've purchased? (pg. 2)

Christ on a bike. What on earth possessed you into thinking that any 12" is worth that much money, let alone a single-sided '99 trance 12"? :wtf:
I shelled out about $80 for this: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Untitled/release/208672, which was far too much, despite all the great music on it. |

It's funny how you sometimes buy a record just randomly and then many years later find out that it have increased dramatically in price.
For instance I bought this one back in 1998: http://www.discogs.com/Dreamweaver-...s/release/70379
I saw it in the record store and was like "nice a new swedish goa trance producer, let's try it".
Now i discovered that it goes for around €100. It's freaking insane. |

I've never paid over €30 for a record, and even then I'd think twice before buying anything. I generally never even buy any "regular" record for a normal price, almost everything I do buy is from the bargain bin.
It's ridiculous how much people are willing to pay for some records - I've recently discovered I seem to own a fair few records that people are willing to pay a lot of - and I've bought them all from bargain bins, sometimes just mere months ago.
For example, someone bought this record for €72 when I paid about €5 for it less than a year ago. |

GEMM was a favorite.. And Hardtofindrecords.com but that was back in the Vinyl days. I don't think I've purchased a piece of music in forever. |

Surely, it isn't worth that price, but a devoted addict's gotta do what he has to do and that record is rare as . |

The album. Greg sold a limited number of the original CDs on eBay for discount prices earlier this year when they re-released the album on digital. Given it usually goes for about £100 and the artist was getting all the money I thought I'd indulge in it. |
