I bet you most people talking on here about Armin's tracks don't even attend any LIVE shows, so they don't realize how beautiful most of Armin's tracks from MIRAGE actually sound.. Those tracks were made to be played over a LOUD system, gives people goose bumps..
But I have come to realize that people just like to say they hate Armin, because that it's the "cool" thing to say..
Armin's sound is incredible and the man continues to stay true to trance.. Not like many other DJ's who are changing their style..
I just saw Above & Beyond in Los Angeles for TATW 350 and was left feeling like I needed energy.. Their set lacked ENERGy.. |

His album was definately a grower this year. Take "This Light Between Us" sounds gash but the epic strings mix WOW! Same with most of the album and Armin's productions style all year. He has been phenomenal for me and I know I am still playing the tunes off the album at home at parties for people and its great.
Totally agree about A&B they are losing their old fans so fast with their slow proggy style. They believe in it though but its left me behind im afraid. |
