Hello mates,
This is my first post on this site. I recently completed a track and put it up on Youtube and Soundcloud. I don't know if I would classify the tune as trance, but it is closer to trance than other genres. I welcome any feedback anyone might have. Here is the link to listen:

A little disclaimer... I read the post about not putting stuff on this part of the forum that is close to a commercial release; I used a service (CD Baby) to get my track onto music retailers, but I wouldn't consider it a commercial release. I hope posting here doesn't violate the guidelines. In hindsight, I would have waited to "release" Circle in the Sand until I had more/better material.
About the track... The track is a cover of "Circle in the Sand" originally released by Belinda Carlisle in 1987. Last year a group called De-grees released a great hard trance cover of the same song. I like their version, but wanted to do my own. I tried doing a more trancey arrangement, but it didn't feel right to me, so I came up with this. Enjoy. |
