I couldn't resist and bought it, Iv seen some vids and reviews, I expect some fatwarm sound, any experience with this synth? I was saving for an Acces Virus, but find this first at a reasonable price here in my country.. :tongue3

thnks chrisspob, yes I heard some videos, read some reviews, and apparently the os4 update improves filters opening and other stuff, delivering more fatter and warmer sound.. Ill have to put my hands on it first and learn how to program it..

That audio demo was made on a SuperNova II.. they're pretty similar, though. I had a SN II. Didn't like it at all, but if you pay the right price, it's worth it.
And it doesn't sound at all like V-Station. The K-Station is what sounds exactly like V-Station.

And I can always sell it in the future, thats a good point for hardware synth. There has been so much hard vs soft discussion that I want to make my own experience. I dont expect it to be easy to program, but I hope it to be intuitive and comfortable at least to use.. lets see

I don't like hardware, but if I wanted a hardware VA at a decent price with plenty of voices then novation's older gear is where i'd look first for sure.

i have one and its simply great ! i wouldn't say that its very versatile but bass out of it is quite fantastic indeed

that was my first synth as well. I was expecting so much more out of it, leaving it for Access Virus. Personally, and no offense, I would have picked up Virus C or A over this... but then again, to each his own.
It's pretty much bottomed out at price, so you're not likely to lose a lot if you decide to sell it. If you paid under $500, chances are that's what you'll sell it for in the future.

Ill play around a bit with it, and see.. It could be a good instrument for inspiring some trance lines. For cleanear tidier sound I would choose a vst plugin all day against the money that costs a VIrus..
