Really? Huh. What was the general reception to that night? 'Cause it was meh for me. I didn't start getting into it 'till an hour or so before the end. Though to be fair I'd gone to all other 8 Igloofest nights before it so by then I was just kind of worn down by it all. |

I guess after going 8 times, it wears off...haha, Keep in mind This was a new experience for myself a first igoolfest so perhaps that would help better understand. Didn't by any means say it was the best party of the decade, just had a lot of fun. There's usually only a couple really good parties per year. 3-4 tops in my opinon...picking them is tough, but I've been at most of them.
This to me was one of them. We were a big group of us proably about 30 total, lots of out of towners, the entire production of the day was a fun and reminded me of when I first started enjoying the scene. I base it on my overall experience, My girlfriends first party experience together and she isn't a fan of EDM, but she loved it as well, so yeah it was a very meromable one.

| Not easy to give 1 best of in 10 years, but i like this thread makes me remember so many good party's. :) So given i like house,techno and electronic music. Its often a combination of all the planets aligned that will make a night much better then others that sometimes are musically better. So i think it was 2005 Aria not shure ? Richie Hawtin's set was very very HARD minimal and coming fron la SAT and bringing over this '' Francaise '' that dint really know where i was taking her i remember she said if you think u can impress a Parisienne like me!!! As i remember there use to be more quality live acts in the first 5 years of the decade is it that nobody books these kind? all i know is that i would shure like to see some of the new acts likes Chateauflight, Fenomenal handclap band and + .... Merci à tous qui on su respecté que je ne me dévoile pas sur ce site ainsi que mes opinions et commentaires. Respect to all u open minded party'ers. In 2011 just Be Yourself. :)) |
