I am planning on buying the student discounted version of Cubase 5 from studica.com very soon however I wanted to ask a question here first. I've asked Studica if they know if I'll be able to upgrade or update to later versions of Cubase in the future and they told me to contact Steinberg, which I've done just now but, since its the holidays, God knows when they'll get back to me and I need to make that purchase very soon. Does anybody know, or has anybody ever bought a discounted version of Cubase 5 and upgraded it before without any problems? I know some companies "block" you from further upgrades if you buy their product at a certain price. Would appreciate any help!
