They do the same in Thailand. It's so amazing. Every night we got incredibly ed up, and then didn't even have to leave the hotel to get our junk food fix; they deliver right to the room itself. It's cheap too; one time we ordered 100 nuggets just for the hell of it. KFC also does delivery, actually. |

| I had to Google Earth that city to remember but I passed through there by train once. Learn to speak Chinese (Mandarin) before you go. It will make the experience a lot more rewarding. The food is great, and not all McDonalds deliver in China so make sure to live close to one that does. KFC delivers too so that's always an option. But, the western places are expensive and taste terrible compared to what you can get off the street. Take razors if you need them to shave and always carry some TP. Have fun! |

Be prepared for nasty holes in the floor that they call toilets, noisy people everywhere, people cutting lines and gargling people everywhere.

Yes, I'm trying to learn Mandarin (emphasis on the "trying")... The grammar is pretty easy but the words sound all the same to me!
I've been told that they don't spit everywhere anymore (thanks avian flu and sars), but that it is still hard to live with such a smell at the beginning (even for a Parisian guy like me, Jay sale batard :D ). |
